Pre-Waxing Advice

Shave – Do not shave the area for 3 weeks before the appointment.

Sun Exposure – Avoid sun exposure at least 48 hours before your appointment.

Coffee – Refrain from caffeine and alcohol at least 4 hours before your wax. Drink lots of water prior to waxing.

Trim – Best results are achieved when the hair in the area is at least ¼ of an inch in length. The hair that’s shorter than one-quarter of an inch is too short to be pulled from the root.

Post-Waxing Advice

Sun Exposure – Avoid direct exposure to the sun light for 24 hours after the waxing.

Gym – Avoid excessive exercise for 24 hours after you wax to minimize irritation.

Fragrance – Steer clear of any topical treatment with fragrance or alcohol for at least 24 hours post-wax. Fragranced products contain alcohols which can dry out and irritate your skin and even make skin peel.

Tight Clothing – Tight clothes on the day of your bikini wax is not good at all.

Too hot - No tanning beds, saunas or steam rooms for the next week after the waxing session.
